Spawnpoint decrease

I'm pretty sure the spawnpoints in my area has decreased since this ongoing event started. Anyone else noticing the same?
Probably goes back to normal when the bronze "checkpoint" is reached. ._.

Update: Now it's back to normal spawning. Don't know if it's related to the bronze challenge being reached or not, but sure seems like a convenient coincident.
