Tyranitar talk
So I had the fortune to catch a level 29 100% larvitar, which I evolved immediately (humble brag over). The question I have, however, is what charged move to give it, crunch or stone edge. I already have 2 other ttars, one with crunch and one with stone edge. I'm going to put a poll in the comments, thumbs up if you think I should give it crunch, thumbs down if you think stone edge. I'd also like to hear your thoughts and comments on both moves. Thanks!

Crunch you have the best dark attacker in the game, nothing else comes close.
Stone Edge you have the tankiest 'rock' attacker in the game with multiple favourite matchups, but is ultimately outclassed by Golem, for now. I think it is the best counter for Articuno though if it comes back (couple it with Iron Tail)
I made my perfect ttar bite/SE and powered it up to 39 (the highest level I can right now.). For gyms, this makes him somewhat more nimble and a better generalist. Most of the glassy ghost and psychic mon people will put in a gym won't survive long enough the take a charge move, anyway. I have three b/c ttar powered up to level 30. For most raid situations, this, and three b/se ttar, is sufficient dark firepower. There are some extreme situations where I might regret my choice, but they are few and far between.
SE makes TTar a great bulky generalist (though generalist also means there are other options such as Dragonite). It has superior neutral DPS, and also offers valuable coverage (though Golem outclasses Tyranitar somewhat)
Crunch makes TTar a Dark Specialist, meaning there aren't any better dark-type options in the foreseeable future.
Depends on what you want to do. If you want to take down psychics and ghosts, go B/C. If you want to put a hurt on Lightning, Flying, and Fire, go B/SE. You've already got one of each, so you're in good shape.
Only other caveat is that after Gen 3 comes out, there might be move changes. Some hints that Gyarados might get waterfall as a quick move, making him a better water attacker than Vaporeon, but nothing is certain. Will Ttar get a rock quick move? Will Crunch change to Foul Play or Dark Pulse? Will Bite go away? No one knows except Niantic employees, so we can't guess on that count. If you knew what was going to happen, then you could react to it. But given what's likely, I'd lean a bit towards B/C, with the caveat that I'd take what I got unless it was Iron Tail or Fire Blast, which I'd TM out.
