Should i invest stardust into a 98% IV RHYDON with mudslap/stonehedge

My rhydon has high iv with good moveset but very low cp 756, is it worth powering up?

Definitely...it is the best attacking move set for Rhydon...

What level are you? Considering that Rhydon can get relatively many "bad" move sets, it might be worth the investment. Don't know if I would do it myself tho. Is this your first one?

I m lvl 27,
Its a rhydon mate, not rhyhorn. I already evolved him, now he has best moveset
And its not my first one, i have a 67% iv rhydon with same moveset which i m using for now he has decent cp 2215. I usually get 2-3 wild rhyhorns daily, but mostly with bad ivs

I have a rhydon of 76% IV and it's currently at 2817 CP at level 31.5. Wouldn't you want to focus on the 2215 CP first, before considering powering up the other one?

Would also depend on the average CP of Pokemon in the gyms around you I guess.

What?! he would be missing out on like 15 whole stat points if he powered the one he already has with high cp and a great moveset for waaay less candy and dust. :) Jk I would too.

That's a lot of candy and dust, but it would be a lot of candy to roll again. Why is it so low? Did you evolve a low cp rhyhorn for the high IVs?

I am in similar situation. I have decided to wait and see what the Christmas event will be, before spending so much dust.

I m also waiting for the same, or may be i could hatch a better cp rhyhorn with 90+ iv

So you only waste your candy. You already have the perfect one - what do you wait for?
If you hatch one, you need 80k dust to power up to level 30 - now you need perhaps 120k - it is quite a good deal, considering perfect moveset and IVs.

In my neck of the woods Rhyhorn are common enough that the candies wouldn't be a big issue, but for me the stardust would. What level are you, and how high did you want to power it?

If you've got the candies and stardust you've got the makings of a good Snorlax counter.

Considering I leveled the crap out of my 89% Rhydon with the same moveset, I'd say yes....

The dust cost isn't really that bad in the lower levels. I believe going from 1-20 is 'only' 45k. Just level him up to 20 and pretend you hatched it

I have 93% Rhydon with same moveset and i invested all my dust to max it out (70k dust), its cp3009 now.

But still having little bit mixed feelings, cus i dont have any use for it, because nobody plays this game anymore and im owner of 2 L/BS Snorlaxes, which are my primary attackers vs anyone, expect Rhydons, which i destroy with vaporeons.

So my Rhydon is not that usefull for me, but it has cool cp3009 nevertheless! xD

If you are having trouble spending that much dust at once, you could power it up to just 1000-1400cp for now and use it for training against Snorlax.

Yeah, I'd be tempted to make him my Snorlax prestige expert, too. Snorlax is so universal in gyms and he's terrific against him. Would save on dust and if they are as easy for you to find as you say, it's only a matter of time before you evolve a good one with a far higher CP and decent moveset.

But I wouldn't begrudge you investing in such a nice beast either. A good dilemma to have.

If you get the candies, power the 98%.

Seriously, the total investment at the lower levels (stardust wise) is miniscule. It's nothing to worry about. If you catch 2-3 Rhyhorns per day like you said elsewhere, it's worth the investment. He's tied for second highest CP in the game, at 98% IV he'll top most gyms once he's up there. Worthwhile this time in my opinion.
