Perfect IV-Vileplume worth any dust?

I finally evolved my perfect Oddish hatch into a Vileplume with Acid/Petal Blizzard. I'm not super happy about the moveset but should I power him up anyway?

I would say no...

I know the feeling... I got my two 100%iv omanyte and poliwag ruined after evolutions. I keep them as trophy in 100 club

Why are they ruined? Omastar is my most favourite Pokemon! I was (!) extremely (!) lucky to get one with wg + rock slide and the other one with wg + hydro pump.

My omastar is of water gun/ancient power... pretty useless in terms of battle... :(

Most Pokemon besides Vaporeon are capable of being ruined by their moveset regardless of IV....Trust me, I've had almost all my 100% ruined in this manner. Like My Rock Throw/Ancient Power Golem....or my Acid/Sludge Wave Tentacruel....or my Tackle/Hydro Pump Starmie....or my Bite/Sludge Wave Nidoqueen

No. Vileplume isn't that great anymore even with the best moveset. With this moveset it's even worse.

Nope. Honestly, there wasn't a moveset you could get to make it worth it. Even with the best (either on offense or defense) he just isn't worth the dust =/

If you want a strong Grass Pokemon, I recommend investing in Venusaur

Vileplume probably suffered most from the nerfing. If you've hatched any Tangela's it's now a much better grass attacker and worth powering up.

I have a 91% Vileplume with the same moveset that I powered up to 30.5. I think he is super cool and looks great in gyms. But is he viable? Not really. I'm now saving my oddish candies and stardust for Bellossom.

I do continue to put my Vileplume in gyms (he's about 2030CP which isn't great) but he looks good. Thats about it... looks.

Vileplume are super rare here so he's more of a trophy.
