Is pinsir with RS/Submission worth for ditto to transform?

I think he is looking for something to send out first to force Ditto to transform into something bad, then immediately switch to a type advantage.

You are probably better off just sending out something that you are going to use later in the fight like a Vaporeon then switch to an electric or grass counter. Ditto's HP remains the same, so it will not get the full benefits of copying something with high HP.
