One of the best--if not the best--DPS move combinations in the game (C/DP) along with a stellar attack and favored status against the biggest names in the gym defense/raid scene: Blissey, Snorlax, Tyranitar, Rhydon, and Lapras. Plus, it doesn't have any double weaknesses to exploit, and against those types against which it IS weak, two of them (Fairy, Flying) are virtually nonexistent on meta-relevant Pokemon.
It's just really good where it really counts.
