Can't have nice things
All pokemon below are 91 IVs or greater, that I have evolved after grinding to save up candies.
Alakazam Confusion/Shadow Ball
3 Arcanines Bite/Bulldoze
4 Gengars with terrible movesets
2 Gyarados Bite/Twister
Omastar Mud Shot/Rock Slide
2 Poliwraths Mud Shot/Ice Punch/Submission
Rhyhorn Mud Slap/Megahorn
2 Vileplume Acid/Moonblast
The excitement is there thinking finally you have something new that could be different and useful, then you evolve and get the worst possible movesets. I understand this is part of the game, but it probably is the largest factor in my wanting to quit the game. If they offer a way to change movesets, will this just result in everyone having the same pokemon (even more so than it already is)? Do you keep these pokemon, never use them, and hope they eventually become useful? Sorry if this is the same for everyone and maybe I am just complaining. Wondering everyones thoughts...
Thanks for listening.

I've candied more than 10 Arcanines. When I finally got FF/FB all the frustration went away. I powered up my boy and really cherished him for that entire week...until he got nerfed.
The thing about this game is right when I get to the point of quitting, something magical happens.
The first time, a ??? Dragonite showed up in my living room. The next time I hatched my Snorlax. That was followed by my Lapras. Then the Halloween event that allowed me to complete my dex . My current goals are to hit level 30 and evolve my second Dragonite. After that I'm totally quitting....
In my early days of playing this game, one of my ultimate goals was to get enough magikarp to evolve a gyrados. Finally... FINALLY... that day came. I was so stoked to get
Bite
Twister
Sigh.
That took a long time to get over. But now I realize it's just part of the game. I used to think I was the king of bad move sets, but really the odds of getting the best moves are just not that great. Happens to everyone.
Seeing Omastar on your list:
1 Water Gun+Rock Slide
1 Water Gun+Ancient Power
4 Mud Shot+Hydro Pump
I frequently find myself wishing I could take two pokemon, smoosh them together and mix up the all the stats and randomly pull out one new pokemon.
Take two bad but almost good pokemon:
Omastar Lv25, 15atk / 13def / 9stm, Water Gun + Rock Slide
Omastar Lv20, 12atk / 11def / 15stm, Mud Shot + Hyrdo Pump
Pay some candy and/or stardust (maybe the sum of the level up costs?) to get back another chance at one good version:
Omastar (Lv20 or Lv25), (12 or 15)atk / (11 or 13)def / (9 or 15)stm (Mud Shot or Water Gun) + (Hydro Pump or Rock Slide)
That'll never happen though.
