Have some of your nests changed too soon?

I was so glad to have a prolific Omanyte nest at a local park starting on Oct 19. When I could finally play after the event started I saw, disappointed, that the Omanyte nest had turned into a Kabuto nest! But strangely, the other nests haven't changed. Has anyone else noticed this?

A massive nest became Magikarp. I was super stoked since it's double candies. However, it prematurely turned into a Hoothoot nest...

Ouch. At least Kabuto is rare (but I prefer Omanyte!)

Many nests migrated when the event landed a few days ago. In most cases, the nests moved up to the next nest mon in the pokedex. The massive one by me is Magmar, which is some early prep for Gen 4.
