I found a wild Snorlax a couple days ago. I punched it's numbers into an IV calculator and saw that it had four different possible calculations. I then decided to power it up a little bit, just to see it's exact results only to see that the range of possibilities hadn't changed at all. When I had caught him he was at level 23, now at 24.
I'd like to ask how this works out the same IV range despite the level increase, and when exactly which level would the calculator be able to find out precisely the Snorlax's IVs. Thanks ahead of time!
Place it in a gym. Use GymHuntr.com to scan the gym. From a desktop or laptop computer view the gym and press the "Gym History" button. Click in the area under the pokemon's name with your name and the pokemon's CP (this part doesn't seem to work on mobile). It will display that pokemon's level, IVs, and moves.
Not really a viable process for scanning lots of pokemon, but works for the few that the typical IV calculator can't pin point.
