Technical curiosity on powering charge move

No...it doesn't.
The speed at which a charge move is powered up does not change as you level up your mons - it just hits harder.
Stamina simply dictates how much HP you will have at a given level.

The rate at which a charge move powers up is determined by the charge gained from using quick moves, and also a gain of charge when you take damage.

I believe it would actually charge slower due to your Pokemon defense going up as you power up. It would charge slower cause you would have less energy gain from receiving damage
