Are raid bosses expected to shift out soon?

Upon the gen 3 hype that comes with the upcoming Halloween event, is anyone expecting a shift in raid bosses that go alongside the new swarm of Pokemon? I've been meaning to grab a good Quilava and Muk but have been ignoring them mostly for better rewards and catches thanks to the legendary raids.

I live in North America which means Entei is all the craze for now. I'm thinking I should grab the two guys now before the raid boss shifts happen, or hold out longer and hope it doesn't happen until after, when Suicune comes out. Thoughts? Suggestions? Should I just wait for an egg hatch?

I picked up two 100% Muk in raids. I have no idea what to do with them. They don't really have a use. Anyone answering your question is just guessing. But it would make sense to rotate the boss with Gen 3. However that could be 2 weeks away or 2 months away. None of us know.

Fairy killers...if you ever see them in a gym

This is just a guess.....they are unlikely to switch things up until after all the beasts are done.

Could you imagine people losing their minds cuz they have to choose between a legendary or the brand new raid boss du jour (such as dragonite)? Why Niantic, WHYYYY?!?!?!?

That does make sense. And if I had to put money on an estimated date I would guess for something a few days after December 1.

My guess is that they will not change until the whole Gen 3 is released. Most likely only Gen 3 spooky monsters will be released in Halloween. Later in December - January we'll get the rest of Gen 3. After the beasts are gone and probably after some special Christmas event. But who knows, they need to release new content to meet their schedule. They are already far behind, so may rush a total Gen 3 release and introduce also new raid bosses...

I'd rather see more variety. Yeah it would make it rarer to see some of the ones we have now, but not impossible. I have grabbed a 100% Exeggutor with ES/Solar Beam this summer, but I'm still on the hunt for the best low-tier raid mons I could get. So far I have a 98% Typhlosion as the other best raid catch.

My guess, without any inside information, is that they may swap out a few of the raid bosses, but will more likely just add some. Realistically, right now, the best non-legendary mons to get on raids are T-Tar, Machamp (if you don't already have your army of them), and Eggy (same comment). The rest are somewhat useless, well maybe Rhydon is OK, but it makes more sense to find a strong rhyhorn in the wild close to level 30, and spend candy to get it evolved, rather than get a Rhydon at level 20 and spend dust and more candy to get it to level 30.

My guess is that they add some new boss mon, maybe taking away some of the older ones at the lower levels. Would love to be able to get the early stages of Metagross, Salamence, and Gardevoir on raids, since I expect they will all be pretty rare at all evolutions.

Frankly, I'm more worried about changes in move sets. If you don't have enough T-Tar with bite/crunch and they take that set away, that will impact your ability to take down Mewtwo and the other psychic and ghost mon. Could also be changes for D-nite, gary, Gengar, Rhydon, Golem, and other 2nd tier mon.
