Is there a glitch with gym defenders? Many times, I battled a full gym and took down 4 defenders before finding it refilled back with new defenders, making me needing to fight 6 Pokemons again. These happened several times.
Just now, i defeated at least 3 defenders. Without quitting or exiting the gym, when I click battle, i found 3 new defenders again with 0m defending. I thought while the gym was under attack, no one can place new defenders in the gym at all? This is so frustrating when it took times to defeat Blissey, Snorlax and Chansey just to find them put back by the defending gym player. Is it a bug or a cheat?
I see this a lot... its annoying. Also when there's a new one after a battle that hadn't been there at the start.
That said, I think I did it to someone else at the weekend. I wonder if the bit when it gives you the splash before loading the battle, you aren't in the battle and someone can add a 'mon then.
If you are battling a gym with openings, they can add pokemon until the a defender gets kicked out. After the first defender gets kicked, players on that team are blocked from adding pokemon for 10 minutes. This time does not reset when you knock out another defender. You have 10 minutes from knocking out the first pokemon to take down the gym. After 10 minutes, they can add more defenders and the next defender to be knocked out will start a new 10 minute block.

This is not true unless there is some sort of trick because I can have open spots available for myself and other to drop while one Pokemon is getting Golden Berried to maintain the color of the gym Red, but none of us can actually drop.
Vice versa, I've battled Blue and Yellow gyms with some or no open spots, take down the first few (I play with my wife so our system is I battle first full six then she battles first 3 after I'm about into the 5th Pokemon. By the time she gets to her 3rd, the first 3 need one battle a piece so they get wiped out.) but they still seem to be able to drop fresh Pokemon even though we're battling their Gym.
