Why aren't shinies in the game for every pokemon?

Why can't we trade? Why can't we 1v1? Why can't we put legendary s in gyms? Why can't we earn Shop Items instead of Buying them? Why can't raids 1-3 be free? Why can't we farm Sufficient Stardust? Why can't we battle Pokemon we find in the wild instead of using stupid stardust to power up?

Why?

Because Niantic is stupid as fuck that's why.... I mean these are the same people that thought it was a good idea to put twenty thousand some people all in the same area and think the towers would handle it. I know they had to have an engineer or someone stop and say "hey.. hey guys.. i don't think that will work."

Because Niantic thinks that shines, or ex raids, are actual content. But yeah agree with the above poster Niantic is displaying some terrible combination of cluelessness, carelessness, greed, and apathy.

At least there's shiny pikachu going around. Got one myself and it's now a Raichu at a gym at a museum. People keep feeding it.
Maybe they want to release shinies alongside events. I'd love to have shiny ghosts for halloween. Or shiny dark types.

I cringe whenever I see someone "shiny check" a Magikarp. Whenever I see a Magikarp I get excited for 6 candies, not it being shiny. Every time we run into a wild Pokemon in the main games we don't expect shinies, so why should we with Magikarp in this game?

They cant creat enuf content so they use shinies and legendaries as a bait for events to stall for more time...
