Entei small raid

Went to do an Entei raid, there were just 5 of us. Levels, 34, 34, 33, 33, 26. So we went for it, and won, twice. Seventeen seconds left for the one with flamethrower, ten for the one with overheat. So that's probably right around the minimum.
The other good thing is that without the level 26 player, we probably would have been unable to win, so everyone was carrying their weight.

I haven't had many small group opportunities, but six: 38, 37, 37, 35, 32, 29 beat it with 130 seconds remaining. Want to do one with 4 first, then try a 3 later in the month

Did one with 4 yesterday levels 29-36, we beat it with 20 sec remaining. Easier than I thought it would be.

I have to ask: Surely the level of the Pokemons are more important than the level of the player?

I often hear people asking about players level when doing raids and I read it here quite as well, but does it really matter if I am 40 (I'm not though) if my Pokemons are still at lvl 20?

I mean, my Pokemon doesn't get stronger because I level up, right?

P.S. God I miss doing Entei raids. Fairly easy to take down and a nice Pokemon to have. Now I have to battle Suicune and even though I think it looks really nice, it is not very good but tough to defeat.

Yes. Trainer level means nothing if your Pokemons are low level. Same if you use the wrong counters for raids (like Vaporeon for Raikou)

Entei and Raikou have rather low defence, so they are easier to take down than Suicune. Even though 7 of Suicune's specialised counters have higher DPS than any of Entei's or Raikou's.
