Event deadline egg question

Will 2 km eggs you get before the 4 PM EST deadline have the potential to hatch chansey, larvitar, etc after the deadline?

I ask because I got the first Chansey I wanted to evolve (15/13/12) and would like to do so before the deadline (for the extra XP), but would hate to hatch an even better one that I then wouldn't have the candy to evolve/power up

Yeah, I thought the XP boost was more than just 1000. I'll obviously hold off now

I think it is just 3x the XP for a new pokedex entry, which is normally 500XP. If you do it with a Lucky Egg for 2000XP, that is the equivalent to two extra evolutions.

What an egg hatches is determined as soon as you recive the egg. This means that all the 2km eggs you recived during the event will have the chance to yield Chansey, Larvitar etc. No matter when you hatch it
