Just caught 100% IV Suicune. Moves aside (which are HP Poison/Water Pulse) - would you power it up eventually?
Is there a clue what influences Hidden Power typing? I wonder if every 100% will be getting HP Poison. Can anyone confirm that?
First of all, congratulations on your 100% man, second, no i would not because even kingler performs better.
Unfortunately nothing will influence which HP you'll get. It is just Random Number Generator (RNG). You also cant TM HP to ES and then to another type of HP.

Hidden Power type in PoGo is not based on IVs like in the main series games. It is just randomly selected for each pokemon for each player. If two players at the same level catch the same wild pokemon with Hidden Power, I've heard that the Hidden Power type is randomly selected separately for each player.
Yeah, it is a dilemma. I have been hurting for high IV pokemon, my highest so far being a 96% Entei. Yesterday I got my first Suicune and it was 100%. YAY!! Then again, that almost means that I have to power it up. I always intended to power up the best of each legendary and have done so so far, even my lacklustre 82% Articuno, but this one?? Dude, it is pretty much useless. A nice trophy, but that's it. I will probably power it up with the excess Suicune candy I earn this month, but I won't spend rare candy on it.
