What Poke will you ALWAYS attempt to catch and why?

Which pokes will you always catch no matter what? :o

For me:
Weedle, Pidgey and Caterpie (For Evolve XP)
Snorlax, Dragonite/Dratini/Dragonair and Lapras (Power)
Shellder, Kabuto/Kabutops (Fav Poke)
Region Specific Pokes (Potential Trade Fodder)
Omanyte (Omastar is the last poke I need for Dex)

Level 32 here. I have never skipped a single Pokémon so I'll attempt to catch everything.

Ah that prob explains why I'm only level 24 haha. O managed to get a pokemon go plus device, so I usually auto catch everything (Attempt) but I manual catch the ones I listed

Wow, can't believe you waste balls on that waste of life Spearow!

Edit: I actually have a big list of Pokemon that I avoid, or will only catch if it's literally the only thing around:
Spearow
Doduo
Meowth
Goldeen
Krabby

Pokemon I skip at least half the time simply b/c I've caught way too many of them:
Magnemite
Voltorb
Pinsir
Magikarp
Psyduck
Staryu

Pokemon I ignore often b/c they're simply not very good:
Ekans
Cubone
Diglett

etc etc

As someone once told me, you never know when they can change the CP / stats of a pokemon making them jump up in ratings

Yeah but some Pokemon will always be worse than others even if they get buffed.

Kingler is a perfect example. They what...doubled his CP? He still sucks. He's never going to be better than Vaporeon/Blastoise/Starmie/Poliwrath...etc.no matter what updates they roll out. So if you have stronger Pokemon of the same type they're useless.

Same goes for a bunch of diff Pokemon types. If you have 60 Pinsirs/Venomoths/Scythers, what's the point of holding onto Butterfree or Beedrill? They're just never going to be as good.

If they ever release mega evolutions, Beedrill will actually be extremely strong - but other than that, I see your point.

I'm simply catching all of them for stardust. I have a very effective route to travel through pokestops and fill my bags with pokeballs.

Dude, where do you live? I've never seen a Doduo or Pinsir in the wild, and Magnemite, Voltorb, Ekans, Cubone, and Diglett are all crazy rare pokemon.

That just shows how each zone on earth has a different spawn pattern, biodomes are so diverse! I see Doduos and Pinsirs by the dozen where I live. Here, Ekans are more frequent than pidgey and rattata combined as well. Also Growlithes, I think I've caught over a thousand of those.

Same here. Got to catch em all! Dust and XP is what I see for the low tier ones.

Starters and rare pokemon. I have so many Tauros and Pinsir candies I don't bother with them anymore

I try to catch them all.....i mean thats what this game is all about....gotta catch em all. Or am i wrong. Explains why i'm always low on pokeballs...

On the always list:

The 3 starters
The elite mons (Dratini, Snorlax, Lapras, etc.)
Abra
Exeggcute
Growlithe
Omanyte
Magikarp
Poliwag
Rhyhorn
Slowpoke

There are also a few I ignore almost completely, either because they're a PITA to catch (now that the weather has gotten colder, I don't want to throw more than one or two balls, max), or because I already have too many of their candies:

Evolved forms of the 12 candy mons (Kakuna, Metapod, etc.)
Eevee (under 750 CP)
Paras
Raticate
Tauros
Venonat
Zubat

why not the 12 candy mons evolve forms? Jus curious, they still give candies

I ignore them completely, too. Sometimes I'll click on them if they're the only thing around and if they're under about 40-50 CP I"ll go for it. Otherwise, I won't.

Why? B/c they waste so many balls and so much time. They have a stupid low catch rate and a stupid high flee rate. I think both are 20%. You'd be better off taking the same amount of balls and time and catching 3 Magikarps. You won't get as much exp when you evolve, but you'll get 3x the exp while catching!

I've had too many of those stupid things waste 10 Pokeballs and then break out and run away. No thanks. Not for a Pokemon I have zero chance of powering up.

p.s. I didn't make that 3x karps number up out of nowhere. They have literally 3x the catch rate of kakuna/metapod...and a lower flee rate to boot!

lol - Magikarp was on my always catch list until I caught over 2,000 of them. Now we have a love-hate relationship.

You're crazy to ignore Eevee. I hit every one I can.

Also, I used to ignore Zubat also, but started catching him to prep for Gen 2

Ah yes, except I have 350 Magikarp candies (70 of which I've gotten through walking a buddy) and 950 Eevee candies. I can't go outside without tripping over Eevees. They're like a plague around here.

Lol same here. I've only seen wild Magikarps thrice, whereas Eevee on the other hand, I see one every 30 seconds.

There are not a lot of pokestops where I live, so I never have pokeballs enough to catch pidgeys and pokemon for XP. The balls I can Getúlio I use onde squirtle(blastoise), grimer (muk), the fossils, lapras, seel (dewgong) and machop for muito pokedex, and ver strong orçamento rare poke that worth pokeballs.

The only Pokemon I will always catch/walk out of my way for (including evolved forms):

Snorlax
Lapras
Dratini
Bulbasaur
Charmander
Growlithe
Slowpoke
Exeggcute
Eevee
Pikachu
Clefairy
Jigglypuff
Machop
Poliwag
Abra
Geodude
Rhyhorn
Grimer
Chansey
Omanyte
Kabuto

Some are b/c of strength, some b/c of rarity. But besides them I catch on a situational basis

Im level 33 and its winter here, so not much motivation to go play outside.
So right now im catching any low cp pokemon, they all give 100 dust anyways.
And im holding on my ultra balls and great balls for top pokemons only.

Im only missing charizard, kabuto and kabutops.
So those i will catch if i see any.

I will always try to catch Pokémon below 100 CP to gain Stardusts.

Catching all! Even if I don't need the candy (eg I have almost 3000 evee candies)

It's all for the dust.

I actively avoid catching Mr Mime - frequently high CP ball wasters, and absolutely useless.

If I'm running short of balls then Golbat, Kakuna and Metapod are avoided, but generally I try and catch most stuff - stardust is stardust.

I have 4 spawns at home that 99% of the time are Pidgey, Rattata, Caterpie, Weeddle, etc..I catch those each time I take a break from working just for the XP and the dust (while I play on the street I only catch those mons if there is nothing better around).

When I play outside the ones I always catch are the 3 starters and the ones I don't normally see (Dratini, Snorlax, Grimer, Magikarp, Kabuto, Omanyte...).

These are the mons I have never seen in the wild and I got them from eggs and evolving: Lapras, Raichu, Alakazam, Ninetales, Nidoking and Victreebel.

Saw a wild Dragonite ??? once, 2770 CP, it ran away from me of course hhaha (I have 3 that I have evolved but I wish I could get one wild)...
