Max Pokemon Level?

I know the power up option is gone when you power up from lvl38.5 to lvl39.0
However it is possible to power up to lvl40.0
But is it possible to power up beyond lvl40? Like lvl40.5 for example

It should be level 41, but Niantic only wrote the CPM to 40 and a bug caused the power up button to disappear at 39.

Are we sure it's a bug that causes the power up button to disappear at level 39. Seems like if it was that wouldn't be too hard to fix and they've known about it over a year now

I'd say so. Because if it was a Hard Coded max, the multiple device trick wouldn't work.

For example: Multiple devices can't catch the same pokemon more than once.

For example: Multiple devices in same raid, share the same total number of premium balls. If you have 8, and throw 4 on two devices the pokemon will flee with you appearing to have 4 balls left.
