Solar Beam VS Psychic

They're pretty equal but both are clearly inferior to Espeon and Alakazam with Future Sight.

I don't know why/how this could be, I'm just reporting what the DPS table is showing but it's fast move dependent:

C/SB ~ C/Psy
E/Psy is 1.6% higher than E/SB
ZH/SB is 2.6% higher than ZH/Psy

I often use a C/P Egg as my 5th mon to solo Machamp. First 4 are Espeons and Zams. Last is Lugia. Works most of the time.

Egg has more staying power and I usually feint before running out of time with most Machamp movesets.

I think Psychic has the edge for machamp, but for general purposes you are better off with Solar Beam as you can double it as a vaporeon slayer.

I use my Solar Beam exeggutor on both Champ/Vape solos and it's the MVP for the Vaporeon solo.

Of course psychic. More effective and much easier to dodge.

You always want Solar Beam.

Solar Beam is as powerful into Fighting types as Psychic is (worst case scenario, it's only SLIGHTLY suboptimal) while still giving Exeggutor utility against Vaporeon.

With Psychic Move + Solar Beam, Exeggutor can be a Vaporeon slayer and a Machamp slayer.

I love using exeggutor psychic against machamp, but i have a lot of exeggutor with different moveset so i can choose different type of exeggutor for different raid boss
Psychic for machamp, and solar beam for vaporeon amd suicune ( which i use 6 exeggutor's solar beam as i like it more than using zapdos or other mons )

Psychic is better, but only by a hair. Solarbeam would be better, as it gives Exeggutor use against Vaporeon, Suicune, Rhydon, besides Machamp. Solarbeam is also better for a generalist.

But for my phone which lags badly when using Psychic, I can only use Solarbeam. But I have 2 legacy Confusion/Psychic Exeggutors which I haven't touched, hoping they will fix the lag...
