Confusion/Focus Blast Alakazam is toughest for me. I have many Tyranitars, so I've been really close against Alakazam C/Shadowball, nowhere near against Focus Blast. However, the Shadowball Mewtwo I fought yesterday did some damage to Tyranitar, had some people crash and needed a few restarts, few lead off TTs got hit relatively hard. That talk of level 20 Tyranitar not THAT much worse than level 30 Tyranitar not seeming to be valid in my experience. If a weak/mid group against Shadowball...put a lick Snorlax or two in
C/ ShB Alakazam can be soloed?
It's the toughest Zam boss MS, also Mewtwo's

Only did one with psycut/shadow ball so far. Quite doable. Confusion will obviously be harder, but that just means your tyranitars may need additional power ups or that you will require more of them. So it boils down to a matter of resources really.
I agree with the others that focus blast is the hardest cm as you absolutely have to dodge all of them with your tyranitars. Consequently, there is less margin for error and for strategic play.
Even a couple of 3400-3500 tyranitars can't DPS high enough to take down alakazam. Timing out on ~#4.
You more or less need 1-2 gengars to increase the DPS rate. With Gengar FB isnt a real issue. Only If you dont Use Gengar. And you more or less must have Gengar to get high enough DPS
But I agree C/SB is toughest moves to raids for both alakazam and mewtwo. confusion hits so hard you get KO at the first SB. FB takes to a long time to charge upp and does alot of overkill.
At least if the quick move is confusion, this is not correct. I beat an Alakazam with confusion/future sight using a level 34.5 double bug scizor and 4 tyranitars none of which was higher than level 34 at that time (did not get to my sixth mon, a tail/outrage dragonite, which would have sucked on account of its low kill speed anyway).
Scizor's kill speed is worse than that of a high level tyranitar, so it must be possible to do it with the mons you describe against a confusion alakazam (could be that you would have to throw in an additional lowish level tyranitar into the mix as your fifth mon though, using a total of 5 tyranitars in the confusion scenario).
