Raikou isn't in my area yet, he'll be coming in a month ot two. What counters should I power up to prepare for him?

1: Rhydon CP 2572 IV82 (11/12/14) L28 MS/EQ
2: Rhydon CP 2394 IV96 (15/15/13) L25.5 MS/EQ
3: Rhydon CP 1856 IV87 (14/10/15) L20 MS/SE
4: Tyranitar CP 3117 IV91 (15/14/12) L30 B/SE
5: Dragonite CP 2950 IV96 (14/14/15) L29 DT/O
6: Dragonite CP 2926 IV77 (10/15/10) L29.5 DB/DC
7: Exeggutor CP 2623 IV87 (14/15/10) C/SoB
8: Donphan CP 2479 IV91 (15/14/12) C/EQ
I have at least 5 more Exeggutors with psychic fast move and Solarbeam,

I use a mix of rhydon , golem and donphan. That seems to work well in groups of six or more.

Might want to boost up to level or figure break point . Earthquake seems to be the goto so golems, rhydons, and donophan. Dragonite goes down quick and havent even tried eggy. group of six seems adequate. same as above

1 Rhydon-EQ #2 Rhydon-SE #3Golem #4 Donphan EQ. I have 1 Ttar but he takes a lot of damage from Wild Charge or TBolt, Dragonite seemed about the same. My Rhydon are 3000,2900,2600. Golems 2550 to 2450. TTAR 3200, DRAGONITE 3000. Donphan 2600.

Idk why that is in bold print? With 3 Rhydon 1 Golem 1 Donphan 1 Ttar I get +2 or +3 damage practically every time.

Always include that Donphan. Try to get around powering too much up. I started 3 for 10, caught 6 of last 8. Save golden razz because it has taken a lot of throws, even on the ones I've secured. None of my raids have come even close to the end.

Anyway, I caught the Donphan wild (not evolved) at level 29, with T/EQ (used a fast TM last month), without using tracker maps, and without knowing the CP or IV before encountering/catching it. I consider it as my best wild catch ever.

The computer has been picking a lot better. It always picks my 4 ground Rhydons, then a 2320 double rock SE Golem, then a 60% 2540 C/EQ Donphan that I caught and evolved, then powered up a couple times. I have a bunch of level 20 Donphans but my only EQ is my biggest one. If you have to, do any damage you can and then just punt/survive with rock golems

I would love to catch a high-level Phanpy and evolve it to get an EQ Donphan. The only wild ones I've ever caught had crap IVs. I've evolved 6 from hatches, and every one has either PR or HS. I haven't been able to justify the cost of a TM or the dust on any of them. But Donphan is such a cool 'mon, I'd really like to take one at least to 30 one day.

1 and #2 first, without a doubt.

Then #3 and then #8, if you feel like you have to prepare for Raikou. The rest are nice mons but not worth powering up specifically for Raikou.

I would, honestly, not power up #3 and #8 just for Raikou. If you max out #1 and #2 you'll seldom use anything else in 10 - 14 trainer raids.

2 - power up that 96% IV Rhydon with Mudslap and Earthquake first

As I am a great believer in powering up not just for one occasion, but also for general purposes, I would power up #2, #5 to L30. Those are great mons with great movesets and great stats. Whatever else you do is up to personal preference.
