30% of space occupied by max potions

I guess I need to throw away 150 or 200 max potions and just rip the band-aid off. I never seem to need them. It just seems like a waste. I'd gladly trade 100 max potions for 1,000 stardust.

I guess the question is... why did people complain about a potion drought? I've always been swimming in them.

I had 200 maxes when lugia was announced, was completely out by Zapdos week.

In terms of bag space, 788 rare candy is currently hogging my bag...

I've got a bunch of max potions too. I have to spin so many stops to get balls that potions and revives just rack up really fast.

I maintain ~50 max potion and ~50 max revive

I had to cut mine way down awhile ago and definitely wasn't one of the ones ever complaining about lack of potions.

I had over 300 saved up. I deleted 50, started racking up again then deleted 50 more. Finally deleted 100 in one go. Still at about 150. I could easiely deleted 50 more and never need them.

I keep at max 30 full revives (max revive or revive + max or hyperpotions) plus 10 max or hyperpotions. If I ever start to run low (which almost never happens) I go spin some stops. Never get into a situation where I run out.

I would say to keep them just in case trading becomes available. They may be pretty valuable.

That will mean buying more space. I'm free to play and already at 700 in items. It just doesn't feel like I will ever use these, and trading may never happen.

Who would want to trade for potions? Everyone is drowning in them.

Sounds like it was a joke making fun of posts where people just recommend holding onto every rare pokemon in case trading ever comes.

I'm keeping 80 max potions and about 90 revives (max and reg combined). It is probably more than needed but they come in handy if I do a few raids in one day, especially if some take multiple attempts.

I was in a similar situation and have finally decided to not keep more than 100 Max potions unless my item bag isn't full. Might get to that point with my 300+ Max revives, though I keep trying to use them instead of tossing, but earning 20+ healing item every raid and never coming across a gym motivated enough to actually knock any of my attackers out makes the usage of max revives very slow.

I'm at 447 max revives. I haven't used one since the legendaries came out. Even constantly battling gyms along with doing raids I am swimming in revives and potions

It's the rewards for leveling up, and that max revives aren't even very rare from stops. Also that it's only natural to use the lower level healing items first to clear out more inventory space. I don't want to be a player that complains that gyms are "too easy" at this point, but they definitely don't require excessive healing. I guess my situation may change slightly after I hit the max level, but that isn't a point I look forward to, since there will be so much wasted experience afterward (my current main activity is grinding trash pokes for stardust).

If you have too many max and hyper potions, that means you aren't raiding enough.

And yes, it would be awesome if we could sell max potions at half the coins we would buy them for, or better yet trade them for stardust.
