Alakazam Use

Do you use Alakazam to sweep weakened Gyms? You use it with Psycho Cut or Confusion? With C it has the third non legendary best DPS in the game, but some players prefer to dodge, it's the fact that put it apart from Espeon, but some Zam users would prefer the higher DPS in order to kill faster

I use it for Machamp raids when I didn't do any raid the day before.

Alakazam has always been my 2nd most used generalist after Dragonite.
I thinking Metagross will be my go to generalist once gen 3 drops.
Also I prefer Psycho Cut on my Zam

From reading others here, I'd guess most just use DT/O Dragonites...1 Dnite w/ a Machamp to deal with the usual Blissey early to save time and you will probably use 2 potions for both of them tops.

If there is no Blissey, you can clear the gym completely with just the Dnite since the motivation is not full and not have to heal till it's all done. This is nice since a raid boss may spawn so any time saved is important to me (like I hit BACK on my phone for the all the splash screens to speed it up)...

Wanted to add I don't have a maxed/high level Alakazam so that maybe why too, but my Dnite is 39...

If you want to sweep a weakened gym there isnt much point in dodging, so confusion. If you want to solo machamp definatly go for psycho cut because you will want to dodge.
