Jynx Pound/Avalanche

Jynx doesn't appear to have a rating for Pound/Avalanche. I have a Pound/Ice Punch Jynx at 95% IV. Was contemplating tm'ing but I'm a bit reluctant to get rid of Pound.

Does anyone know why there is no rating for Pound/Avalance and how good it would be if a rating was available?

I think ratings are done manually and Jynx probably isn't a priority.

Not sure how the ratings are done but I'd put P/A below FB/IP and above P/P since Avalanche is Jynx's strongest charge move in terms of damage and Jynx's niche is in its ice movesets, making Avalanche the strongest move to combine with Pound, but below FB/IP since FB will out damage Pound due to STAB and you are probably going to use a Jynx where it also has type advantage, and IP is still a good move - it's like comparing Outrage to Dragon Claw.

Right now I don't see a use for Jynx in raids so I wouldn't TM or power it up right now, but if you are still thinking of TMing, keep Ice Punch because its legacy and it's also a good move - not worth risking getting unlucky and not getting Avalanche - but get rid of Pound for Frost Breath unless you're a collector, because that'd be the only reason to keep Pound.

In the spreadsheet, Pound/Avalanche is third highest offensive damage. That is not taking into account real world factors like type advantages, dodging, and energy gain from losing HP. The main reason to use an ice attacker is for Dragonite, so Frost Breath will deal more damage but Pound will still generate energy a little bit faster and allow a little easier dodging. You can try running some PokeBattler simulations to compare more.

I generally have no problem TMing non-STAB moves since someone else could probably do better with that same STAB move.

Exceptions maybe things like Fury Cutter Kabutops, etc...which is legacy and he has no STAB move to begin with so the nonSTAB move is it's best moveset so far...

I TMed my Dragon Pulse Lapras a long time ago already and no regrets...
