Finally got outrage after 10 charge TM's!
LOL! My precious 98% Dragonite now has Dragon Tail/Outrage. It cost me a total of 11 TM's. One fast TM to get Dragon Tail and TEN charge TM's to get Outrage.
It started out as Hyper Beam. I used on charge TM and got Hurricane.
Kept that for a long time and used it in Machamp raids.
After Machamp raids were no longer too important I spent 6 charge TM's going Hu - HB - Hu - HB - Hu - HB - Hu. Then I was almost out of charge TM's and went f**k it.
So just now, I was looking for good uses of my charge TM's and yet again I looked at this Dragonite. First try got hyper beam again. Second try back to Hurricane yet again. Third try: what do you know...I got Outrage.
Wouldn't do it again, though. And I ONLY did it because I didn't have many good uses for charge TM's left.

Heh, one reason I am still sitting on my 13 Charge TMs...
I just don't want to get into this type of situation or open this can of worms...
I'd LOVE to get Dynamic Punch on my 95% Machamp (I only have 1 DP Machamp), but this type of scenario is making me not bother...I should do more Machamp raids, but all catches have had bad IVs or they run (use Pinaps a lot)...
Same here. I hold on to any charge TMs and use them only when a mon has the absolute worst charge move. I can't let myself get into the trap of toggling between two moves and never getting the absolute best.
That's why I now have 4 Dragonites with Hurricane. All evolved with HB. So one charge TM each and got H on all. I finally got Outrage on the 5th. And I don't consider the others wasted. H is a fantastic move in its own right, not to mention its improvement over HB.
Congrats! I keep wondering about my own tolerance. So far, 7 TMs get DP on Machamp is the worst. I tried twice each time so I guess I was willing to go for 8. I'm generally a hoarder though so sitting on 30 is feeling pretty good right now. Perhaps I will allow myself to screw around with any charge TMs Over this number. I haven't received a charge TM in last 10 raids, mostly T'tar; doesn't look like I will be fooling around much in the near future.
