Hitching on Oneplus 3t?

I have a Oneplus 3t and Pokemon Go has been running beautifully on it. Since the most recent update though, the game has been occasionally hitching (or hanging/stuttering). This has been negatively affecting Pokeball throwing, gym battling, and even menu navigation. Anybody else experiencing this?
