Raiding teamwork

Just wondering how successful people are in finding groups for raids. I live in an area with a loyal following of trainers of all ages. While not every trainer can make every raid there has only been a small number of legendary raids that were not hit - all of which were before 8 am.

We have a discord chat app that keeps everyone up to date. I'm wondering other players experience. I am very grateful for my community of regulars as well as the numerous tourists who are stoked to find preassembled groups for a legend while on vacation.

I personally have hit 62 bird raids in the last few weeks. There are a number of players in my area with more than that. Many with less too. I'll try for a few more in the morning. How many have you done?

I live in a small town with 12 gyms and 10,000 people. I figured I would be lucky to get 1 of each but I got to work and found around 40 players and have caught 29 for 51 Legendaries with only 2 losses! I have only missed a handful of the raids we had enough people for but almost everyone has a couple! Its been great!

MysticBoss.

Just checked and I've done 68. I know quite a few people out there who must be closing in on 100.

To answer your other question, we've being calendar of events on "groupme" to coordinate. We just hit over 500 members but the system still seems to be working for the most part. It's a small area of about 6 square miles but quite a few gyms.

On regular weekdays i also use discord to check which raids are abailable near me, and use my bike to go there (work mostly from home). On weekends i went two times to the downtown where raids are commonly over populated. 37 legendary raids so far.

I live and work in a big city and usually enough folks show up at legendary raids without having to arrange anything. I feel very fortunate after hearing others' experiences. I've "only" done about 20 bird raids, plus about 5 T-Rex's.

At the only accessible gym we have here, there are at most 9 players (including me) who are able to be on-site at the same time and some spoofers who are friends with them. I can only play in the early morning till 8 am so I usually have to wait more than 1 hour for other players to show up. For many times, I give up and go home since noone or not enough people come to fight bosses.

Yesterday was my first Lugia raid and we failed because only 7 of us could join the raid while other 4 were kicked out because of the infamous "network error" issue. We didn't have time for a second attempt because people showed up too late (around 10 minutes before the raid ended).

In the afternoon and evening, those players have more free time and are able to fight and catch many raid bosses they want. I'm not part of it due to my study schedule. Well, that's life! I'm still happy PoGOing everyday!

P.S: 0/6 Legendaries caught. ;)

We have a Valor crew of 40 and some of us raid every day including myself. It's not hard to assemble a raid squad within 15-20 minutes due to our network. I've done 268 regular raids and 119 lengendary raids for a total of 387 raids. Met a lot of good people including arch enemies during raids. Now that the gym scene is a joke, all teams reach out to each other for raids. Before the gym rework we had some intense wars and real animosity towards each other but the raids have softened up everyone.
