Just a quick question. I'm wondering if any of you have a minimum threshold of Attack stat before you would invest in your mon, given your gym/raid experience. Assuming ideal movesets, will you avoid anything below a specific number and exercise patience for another with a higher attack stat (assuming the mon is somewhat accessible)? Or is the difference between 13 & 14/15 negligible? (I'm familiar with the breakpoints, but would like to know your real world opinions based upon experience.)

With the number of people in the current raids, it makes this question irrelevant since the bosses drop so quickly, but I'm somewhat of a perfectionist.

Tbh none of this matters unless you:

  1. Are missing out on damage balls because of your lineup in group raids
  2. Are attempting to solo Flareon or Alakazam, duo Tyranitar or Moltres, or trio Zapdos

I personally set my minimum standard to power up at 10 if the other two stats are spectacular (15 14 or 15 15)...but I can also completely disregard the other two stats if the attack is 15 (e.g. I've powered a 15/2/1 dragonite before)

I am a perfectionist myself and here is how i feel you can approach this:
1. Use the break point to see if your mon is gonna have one or two less point even when it is level 39.
2. Check base stat of the mon. If it already has high attack stat, minus 1 or 2 attack IV shouldn't be a big deal.

I also look the base stats. e.g. Got an 86% articuno 14a/11d/14hp, and its perfectly fine for me (bs 192/249/180)
