Dragonite supreme counter?

Is there even one? I don't think so, but good counters would be: Lapras, Articuno, Wigglytuff, Granbull. Which pokemon are you considering TM'ing and powering up for Dragonite raids?

Dragonite will be slaughtered so hard by anything that is ice. Lapras, Jynx, Articuno and so on. Even golem will do good, which many will have by now.

I think Lapras / Articuno / Granbull / Poliswine / Clefabie will be good. Ice will be supreme counter.

Articuno is defo supreme for dragon tail variants. Against steel wing it will be a bit dangerous but still does very well.

Steel Wing boss vs Gyarados might actually make a case for a supreme counter, but then, Dragonite might as well be a supreme counter against SW Dragonite boss.

I don't see the fairies being supreme even though they take 0.5x damage, as they have no fairy quick move to supplement the charge moves. Against steel wing they get completely wrecked.

Would definitively use one of my boosted Cloyster as my first pokemon.... They used to chew Dragonites for breakfast before the gym change, so one of them deserve to be my glass cannon!

Against sw Gyarados can be a great counter, maybe even kingdra if it doesn't have outrage

Articuno should overall be the best counter to Dragonite, unless it has SW/O in which case PIloswine with IS/A is better, or if it has SW/H, in which case a Dragonite with DT/O is better.

In other words: If you are hunting for Dragonites, powering up your best Articuno is not a terrible option. Personally I'll be doing it, even if my best Articuno is "only" 82%.

Jynx shall be the fastest. Recommend use Jynx with Frost Breath/Avalanche if 20 player in group and use Lapras if less than ten. Articuno not sure...

I will use:
Cloyster FB/A
Lapras FB/B
Gyarados DT/O
Gyarados DB/DP
Dragonite DT/OR
Dragonite DT/OR

If the second Gyarados performs badly I will throw in a third Dragonite with DB/OR.

My team will be
1. Cloyster FB/A
2. Dragonite DT/O
3. Piloswine IS/A
4. Piloswine PS/A
5. Golem RT/SE
6. Golem RT/SE or Wigllytuff P/DG as an anchor.

Most people have several solid double ice move cloysters.

Probably a similar line up that I would have used back when I would see level ten gyms with 10 high level dnites chillin. Which is all my level 30+ ice types, my dnite with a double dragon moveset, plus a blissey with dazzling gleam as my anchor.

Articuno, Lapras and Cloyster will all have solid durability against Dragonite. I would skip the Blissey.

Bite/Stone Edge Tyranitar is looking like a solid tank for Hurricane or Hyper Beam charge moves. I never fully fainted against Zapdos, have to be careful and really decipher the moves before a full Dragonite battle

Blissey is definitely the boss of anchors though, as it can take on 5 dragonites with dodging.

Not the same scenario as a raid boss obviously.

blissey with dazzling gleam doesn't sound too bad as an anchor for dnite raids
I'd likely go 2x jynx 2x lapras 1 articuno 1 blissey

If you care enough to be on pokemon BB and you have it as your anchor...guess what, half those that barely care will be starting with Blissey. I'm going to make the extra effort and decide which moves the Dragonite has before the big battle
