I start feeling 3 bar charge move is very good at raids due to its efficiency and less waste like aqua tail and rock blast.

Yes, Solarbeam is too slow, the Vaporeon would have hydropumped you during the solarbeam animation.

I suffer from this all of the time too; more often than not I find my self fainting with the majority if not all of my energy charged mid-animation, compared to being able to successfully fire it off
