Golem's Utilities after G1 Legendaries

I believe Legendary raids may come back occasionally from time to time so you could use them then.

My 2800 golem was auto selected versus blissey dazzling gleam today and whiped it out pretty quickly. I went couple of times through without using potions.

Golem is either a supreme or good counter for 9 of the other current raid bosses. And there's going to be Entei and Ho-Oh coming up.

Tank vs Dragonite (rock is SE), tank vs normal pkmn

Back before the Fire/Ice event/New Gym system I used him as slot 5&6 when going up against one of those old dragonite towers. In future Gens where more dragons exist this might come back, but my guess is everyone has enough ice counters now to make this moot.
