It happens. Since Ledgendaries the game has gotten loads of glitches, in particular graphical ones where parts of the graphics become permanent when they should disappear. My blissey got an white Aurora permantly in the gym yesterday.
Even so it could be that the latest update made my phone not up to standard and thus it might simply be a case of me overloading my CPU.
