Nanab Trick
Just don't understand why ppl would hate about nanab trick and even ask ppl not to use it.
Many reports said it works, it works for me. Someone will say "hey I hv a better record than u and I never use a trick" IMO personal luck (1 or 2 ppl high caught rate while others hv low) just can't beat big data (successful reports from nanab trick). If u don't feel it right then don't use it but no need to spread the hate....
Maybe it's Niantic plan...like many hidden tricks in other games, or maybe it's just a bug. Relax and hv fun of it :)

I would believe it if...
- A group of 20 people did a raid, and then everyone of them used the trick...and then every single one of them got the catch.
- Then they moved to another 3 raids and repeated it...with 100% success rate for everyone in the group for all 4 raids.
If this was to happen, then I might start giving it some credit.
Until then, I will just think that the improved catch rate of the berries is influential.
have a capture rate of 60 moltres from 100 attempts. Most of the attempts were from spinning curved balls hitting either excellent/good with golden berries. For a period tried nanab berry + excellent/good throw; think i managed it twice. also did the excellent/good throw + pineapp berry and managed it twice as well.
So contradictory.
Using the term "personal luck" fits both sides of the discussion.
You can't claim that others experience is only personal luck, but what you have chosen to believe must be unequivocal.
There is nothing but anecdotal evidence...and I have seen enough people claiming it doesn't work for them to doubt it is a guarantee.
I agree that people shouldn't tell others not to bother using it...but likewise no one is in a position to claim that is it going to guarantee a catch.
They are entitled to their opinion, just as you are entitled to yours.
Nothing has been proven either way.
They have a reason to Hate on it.
With some Trying and Attempting it and Failing, they can Hate On it.
Cause it didn't Work. It's that Simple.
But to be on Your Side there are Factors in Play. And people don't give enough information. Who knows what factors in You High Sucess Rate. Maybe as Simple as that/those gym being effected like how they had some gym before where You could Affect the Pokémon in the Gym. Or the Phone Type. Any/Everything effecting it.
Until We know the Exact Recipe to make it Work.
You can't say it does. It's a LIE.
And telling 100 people who can't Spin the Ball and and Can't Even get Nice Throw, and don't get damage bonus or Gym Bonus, or Team Attack Bonus.
How would You Feel When Some of them don't Catch it?
"Well Some of You guys Caught it?"
Or "You didn't have to Try it"
That's not Comforting Enough.
Why do I get the feeling this post is directed at me? Haha. I'm not hating. I'm also not the most popular trainer here if you've noticed (or maybe not) - probably get more downvotes than upvotes ? BUT, I tell it like it is and I'm gonna say it again - NANAB BERRY TRICK IS BS. Don't believe the hype. I'm just trying to be a good pogo citizen and warn people before they waste premier balls. That's all.
Here's your upvote LOL!
Although I agree with your conclusion, to be fair if the "calming down" effect extends beyond one throw (like for 5 secs or something) and then with the next throw ppl are more likely to hit with great or excellent + golden (assuming that they normally do NOT get a throw bonus), that could account for the perception that the trick works. However if one is reasonably consistent with great throws then you're more likely just giving up the golden berry multiplier.
What about if the nanab let me hit excellent (when I usually do not), would that be worth it? Basically that is Golden+nice/great VS nanab+excellent (with curve)?
