Motivation decrease formula

CP of high CP Mons decreases faster compared to low CP mons. What is the formula and at which CP-level does CP drop faster?

Perhaps this question has already been answered, but I can't find the answer.

The boarder used to be 3000 CP, I believe these days the boarder is set to 1500 CP. I'm unaware of the decrease formula, but it is ridiculously high.
