New bug? Favoriting is removed!

I noticed a subtle bug which I think is new. It seems minor but could have disastrous consequences. When you put a pokemon in a gym and it comes back, the favorite status is removed. Check all your recent pokemon that have returned from gyms, all of mine were unfavorited.

It's been around since remote gym viewing was introduced.

I'm aware this was a problem I read about happening to others however it only just started happening to me. This needs to be fixed immediately.
