Why is Fury Cutter / Earthquake Nidoking recommended against Electabuzz?

I understand EQ, but why the C-rated moveset with non-STAB quick move? There are STAB moves available that Electabuzz does not resist.

Fury cutter has RIDICULOUS energy gain per second (higher than any other move in the gain), allowing you to fire off a LOT of Earthquakes during attack.

Yes, it's almost twice as much EPS vs Poison move

BUT that doesn't answer his full question of why it's C rated when poison is A rated and yet listed as counter match up.

When I play around on Pokebattler, Poison Jab outpreformed it.

So the best answer, is counter list is probably wrong and should list Poison Jab/EQ.

Fury Cutter preforming ok for energy gain

Fury cutter generates 6 energy per use in 0.4 seconds, which is the highest
On the other hand, Steel Wing also generates 6 energy per use, but in 0.8 seconds.

One of the main benefits of Fury Cutter is easier dodging. It should probably be listed that you can use either Poison Jab or Fury Cutter. The important part is just that you don't want Iron Tail, which would be resisted by electric.
