I am saltier than the dead sea because I went to a museum where there was an Articuno, and no one came. So I just went solo for the lulz. Only did 1/4th damage and quit before the timer was up. Would probably only do half HP damage if I took 2nd round up, but not worth wasting battery.
The connection issues aren't helping either.
Well, it can be worse. You can have no Articuno, like me, simply because you show up to Articuno every time and find out no one else is around to fight it, thus rendering your raid pass useless (again and again) lol.
And, Niantic's recent update about the legendary birds doesn't really help, either. Not a lot of time left for us folks who don't have the damn ice bird. :(
Do a search on Facebook (if you use it) for PoGo groups in your area. In my area they use an app called Discord, and when I used it I was able to get into my first Legendary Raid battle today. (we won, being Instinct there was only 2 of the 10 of us who were Instinct, so we got only 5 special balls to throw. Even on an Instinct Gym! Sigh, that's such an aggravation. Anyway.) If I didn't have Discord, I would likely not be doing any Legendary's at all (maybe not even Rank 4's.). Maybe there's something similar in your area?
