Dragonite?

I hatched a Dratini today, pushing me over the 125 candy "marker." Here are the IVs:
HP: 10
ATK: 15
DEF: 10
Overall: 78%
Obviously the attack stat is great, the other stats just average, but not bad. Considering evolving because Dratinis aren't too common around my area, and Dragonites are best at attacking anyway. Your feedback is appreciated, thanks!

I would wait for a better hatch. If that thing was level 25+ I'd evolve it straight away, as it would be less taxing on dust.

Do you have a pressing need for a dragon? Remember, after you evolve you still need the candy to take it to a good CP. A level 20 dragon is not useful.

Lol you guessed it, level 20. I do have another Dragonite that I caught wild, 14 attack stat, other stats kind of suck (2 HP, 5 DEF). Been using it though, above 2300 CP w/ DT/O. Gues I'll wait.

Honestly, 10 IV in HP and defense isn't terrible. I would probably just go for it.

Against the advice of others, I did go for it (I'm very impatient sometimes). The CP was a little low, 1996, but I have plenty of extra candies, so I can power it up. Steel Wing/Hurricane, i'll change steel wing but am personally ok with Hurricane since Dragonite has a cross flying type, and I already have a Dragon Tail/Outrage.

Hatching a 483cp dratini isn't that rare of an occurrence, I'd wait another month at least. You need candy to power up the level 20 anyway. You already have a dragonite that will be bigger than this one starts

Wait for a better one.

Under 90% don't power it up, just get a good scanner.

There's a good chance you'll find a better one if you're willing to wait a couple months. I know I wouldn't feel great if I spent a ton of Dratini candy and stardust (especially since it's harder to get stardust now-a-days) just to get a stronger Dratini later on after evolving that one.
