Gym crash - is it just me?

This happens to me quite often also!

I use an IPhone 6 and it's clearly overheating. I don't know if this is the problem.

My internet connection is quite good (I live in Japan and the 4G here is very nice).

The raids usually have a lot of people! Tyranitars often have 12-15 people fighting. I think this can be an issue because I noticed that in more crowded areas where people play more, the game crashes more. But it's just my impression!

I'm thinking about changing my phone to see if it helps...anyone have a good suggestion?

My gym raid crashed to tonight. There were 17 fighting. I tried to rejoin and it put me in a new group of 2.

This may be related to problems in memory stack management.

A tried-n-true simple fix is to simply restart the app before spending the pass to start the raid.

I know I have phone issues because it is overheating. I try to bring a bottle of ice water to act as a heat sink (held to the back of the phone) and that helps, but I can't always get one and that is when I have the most problems.
