Tangela worth powering up since the buff?

For attacking gyms Venus, Vic and Gloom are all gonna be a little bit better cuz they are bigger. Venus is still king of the hill here. However with the buffs from this new update it looks like most gyms will be bigger so our training squad CP's must be adjusted up. I think around 1300-1400 is gonna be the new sweet spot up from 1150-1200. Since this is basically the CP of a level 20 Tangela its already good to go as is.
PS Parasect is prolly still a little better than Tangela

I have a 96% Tangela with the best moveset but I won't be powering up. Despite the buff she is still worse than the nerfed Vic or Vileplum.
