Raid boss fainted then we got time up

Two of us took down a Jolteon and the animation of it getting knocked out and shrinking began, then with two seconds left on the clock, the screen went white and the 'time up' message appeared. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

I don't care about the Jolteon, but rarely get the chance to attempt a level 3 raid when I'm with someone, so the possibility of TMs was why we tried.

I once had a network error during a raid and all the bosses (flareon) health lost during the error regenerated once the error cleared. Needless to say we timed out. At least we smoked it the second time through.

Yes, in the last raid I did about an hour ago, but I had a lot more time left on the clock when the glitch occurred and don't recall the screen going white, but the "time up" message appeared. I had restarted the Pokemon Go app just before I started that raid to avoid the "Network Error" or similar issue like you experienced. Before the second attempt, I exited the app, restarted the phone, restarted the app and then completed the raid successfully. Try that next time. Did you not try to do a second battle with the Jolteon?

I restarted the app not too long before, but probably could have done with closing other apps, and perhaps restarting phone like you suggest. I did just that for a Lapras raid earlier in the day and beat him, but failed to catch despite several excellent throws with golden razz berries. Didn't go for a second attempt on the Jolteon as I had to be somewhere else.

the time on your device is not the same as the one on Niantic servers. Make sure the time on your device it set to auto

"shrinking began, then with two seconds left on the clock, the screen went white and the 'time up' message"

...sounds like what happened last night when I was with my girlfriend. I will be investing in little blue pills.
