Quick TM on Dragonite or T-Rex
Hi there,
i hope you are not annoyed yet by another question regarding tm's.
I got my first one so far today - a quick TM.
Two choices:
Dragonite, lvl 27, 2722 CP, +40 IV, with SW/HU
Tyranitar, lvl 20, 2054 CP, +38 IV, with IT/C
Background:
the D-Nite ist my highest CP of three total Dragonites. And i have another Tyranitar with B/SE on lvl 27. No or not much candies for both species.
Thoughts: i highly tend using the Quick TM on Dragonite.
Pros:
- due to current raids i could easier get another TTar than another Dragonite.
- DT/HU seems to be a superb general attacker moveset, also in certain raids.
- Lvl 27 Dragonite is way better than Lvl 20 T-Tar, also regarding dust costs for power up.
Cons:
- i need more Tyranitars with good movesets for certain raids (Alakazam and Legendaries mainly).
- Raid mons could change and Dragonite be available soon too.
Answers
Tyranitar is better and more specialised for certain raids whereas Dragonite is not supreme but good against almost everything especially with Hurricane. The only tricky part of the game at the moment is soloing lvl3 raids and you would have to power up both of them further. Machamp and Vaporeon are the easiest and Dragonite is way better against them then Tyranitar. Still...probably Tyranitar is the way to go, but I would wait for one with at least 93% IV
