Pinsir vs Scizor

Why is Pinsir just a "Good" Exeggutor counter and not "Supreme" like Scizor? they have almost the same base stats. Its because Scizor resist 2x? (steel and bug).

BB/XS Pinsir is rated as the highest bug DPS and have higher attack and defense stats than Scizor (10hp less tho).

Worth power up to level 30 a BB or FC/XS Pinsir? a pure bug Scizor will be hard for me, i dont have a single Scizor on my fleet.

Pinsir resist grass, scizor double resist grass and resist psychic. Thats probably the reason

Yes, i got it now. Thanks and sry about this noob question.

Scizor has double resistance to grass attack from Exeggutor and single resistance to psychic attack.
Pinsir - only single resistance and no resistance respectively.

Moreover - Scizor gives less energy (3) to Exeggutor for charge attack than Pinsir (5). In practice its mean that Exeggutor dies before he can use a solar beam in battle with Scizor. Its no possible with Pinsir.
