Raid boss: a level 16 player got a level 20 Quilava
Answers
The problem here is that the raid level was lowered to level 5.
A level 5 trainer can enter a raid, leave and then reenter the same active raid as long as they are within the same 3 minute timer battle. Everyone else do the work, their attacters take no damage and then they get to catch the level 20 pokemon to attack gyms or defend gyms without putting in any work.
Imagine a level 5 trainer with a 2000CP tyranitar. These bosses should have been scaled with trainers levels just like egg hatches are.
Main downsides I see would be future trading...someone levels up a ton of level 5 accounts...join raids with a few of their main accounts...trade all extremely high IV Lvl 20 Tyranitars or whatever to their main...
Ultimately, PoGO is not a competitive/skill based game...Just play it as such and move on...
I'd say change gyms to not even bother defending since it's too easy to tear down now...Give Pokecoins for doing other stuff like 10 great throws in a row, catch 10 mons in 10 minutes, walk 10km a day, whatever...
I'm still waiting for my Pokemon house so I can train and have them battle amongst themselves...Would be nice to see our mon's Battles Won too without having to battle everyone.
