Jolteon as a defender?

I have a high IV jolteon with volt switch/thunderbolt. I'm wondering if I should use a TM to teach it thundershock, or leave it with volt switch to use as a defender. Any thoughts?

IMO Jolteon with TS/TB is one of the best attackers in the game. Volt switch just isn't a good move, it's to slow. Electric types need quick moves so they can dodge to use then best. Electric defenders aren't the best IMO

I think it is a great defender, but with it being SE against a lot of the Legendaries, offense is the way to go. I am switching my maxed out Jolteon from vs to ts.

I fought a Volt Switch Jolteon the other day and the quick move NEVER showed a dodge flash. Anyone else have that experience?
