Using Charge TM on Sludge Bomb Gengar

Back in the Gen 1 days, Shadow Claw/Sludge Bomb was considered as the best moveset for Gengar. But after Gen 2, Shadow Ball is buffed and double ghost type move is now the best, that's quite a blummer to me as I have evolved for 7 times to get a SC/Sludge Bomb Gengar and dumped a few of them with Shadow Ball. Should I try to give a charge TM to my one and only wonder IV Shadow Claw Gengar (86.7) with SC/Sludge Bomb which is at level 32 to be the glass cannon against Psychic type Raid bosses?

I already have 2 around CP1400-1800sth 60-70sth IV SC/Shadow Ball Gengars (I kept them simply because they were my first 2 Gengars), a 3340 B+C Tyranitar, 2501 FC+IH Scizor, and a 3000 sth Bite+HP Gyarados. And basically the only mons that I need to put charge TM on could be this Gengar, Fire Blast low CP Tyranitar, and maybe a KC/Cross Chop Machamp.

Same situation here. I have a sc/sball one, but with low IVs. I have a good one with sludge bomb, but am asking the same question. I think I am going to hold off, because at the end of the day, he is a glass cannon that is weak to the very Pokemon he is most effective against.
