Potential team to solo a Machamp?

Been thinking and reading about this, any feedback from trainers who've gone down this road (especially if C/SoB Exegg at L30 would be better in the lineup)?

The contenders:
L33.5 D'nite SW/H (3070)
L30 D'nite DT/H (3050) [96%, but no more candy..]
L35.5 Espeon ZH/P (2790) [could go to 36.5]
L31 Exegg Es/P (2380)
L30 'Zam PC/FS (2250)
L29 Exegg Es/P (2310)

None of the bottom 3 have great IV's, so I'm hesitant to power them up (but have dust and candies). On deck is a L20 C/SoB Exegg with great IV, how does that MS perform? I'm also walking Eevee to get another Espeon, and could max a FS moveset... Alas, I'm really regretting using a charge TM on Snorlax EQ.

Whad'ya think, a July 4th fireworks celebration, or going down in flames?

I came within a hair's breath of soloing him today. Failed twice with only a sliver of red left at the end (timed out both times). Third time someone came along to help and we whacked him with ease. I had:

Alakazam (C/FS) - ~2600CP
Espeon (ZH/PB) - ~2500CP
Slowbro - (C/P) - ~2100CP
Eggs - (C/SeB) - ~2500CP
Dragonite (DT/O) - 3035CP
Flareon - (FS/OH) - ~2500CP

Did not have an ideal team - if my Eggs had Psychic I think I would have beaten him. Also have a DT/H Dragonite at about 1900CP. Need more candies though. Your team is worth trying.

I second that it is worth trying. That lineup should get you close.

I have solo'd Machamp quite a few times now and I recommend a team with all psychic moves and optimal (or close to) move sets.

I tested with a friend and we found even Dragonite slowed dps down enough to make winning tough, while Alakazam, Exeggutor and Espeon were able to keep pace consistently. The fast move matters and the battle order does as well. You want your highest dps pokemon going earlier in the order.

It's also important to approach dodging correctly for the line up you have. Your Espeon for example might be your highest DPS pokemon and having it alive longer and doing an additional special or two could help provide a small dps boost. However, if you can run 6 psychic above level 30 you shouldn't need to dodge much.

I posted my team before but I'll put it up again. Used 3 3k Dnites w/ DT/Hu and 3 Eggys, one at 2.7k w/ ZH/SB and 2 at 2.4K with C/P. Very minimal and sloppy dodging. I've solo more than 5X against Machamp with BP/DP and I'll usually defeat with between 15-20secs left. (I have stronger pokes now, but I bring these pokes up as an example because it's not as optimal and still gets it done.) Hope this helps for comparison purposes!

Just beat a Machamp raid today by myself (12 second left)
1. Dragonite 3083cp, DT/H
2. Espeon 2678, ZH/FS
3. Alakazam 2671 PC/FS
4. Exegg 2540, Extra/SB
5. Esegg 2533, Extra/SB
6. Blissey 2924, ZH/DG
(all 85+ IV's)

Machamp i was fighting had Counter/CC...if that matters?

Did not need Blissey......also caught the Machamp with C/DP...was pretty stoked to get that moveset! (first one). No TM's though.....1/20 in that category

So far Machamp is the easiest level 3 solo (at least to me)! Yesterday My 1st solo failed because I picked Gyrados as the 7th mon. Then I picked eggy as the 7th, and succeeded! Today I powered up my 100% Dnite DT/H further using rare candies, and finished it with 15 sec left! Lineup: 2 Dnite 3000-3100, 2 Zams,2500-2700 1 Espeon 2600, 1 eggy 2700.

I've soloed 3 Machamps, with similar Mons to the OP.

I think this was my most recent lineup:

Alakazam C/FS 2300cp
Dragonite DT/H 2080cp
Dragonite DT/H 2050cp
Exeguttor C/P 2300cp
Exeguttor Es/P 2100 cp
???

I only needed the first 3

I can sometimes do it pretty easy but for some mons that fake you out charge move happens more often. Is seems especially for espeon to me. I was trying for 3 or for attempts to fire it and it wouldn't go. Then I sorta get hit by heavy slam and put in the dodge bug. Then I fall behind schedule and don't make it. Just not worth the frustration to me

I wish I could just FIND a Machamp to try out. I have been working on a team and this is the current lineup I have ready for when the day comes:

CP Level IV (A-D-S) Pokemon Fast Charge
3063 30 15-14-15 Dragonite Dragon Tail Hurricane
2544 30,5 12-13-14 Espeon Confusion Psybeam
2406 30 12-13-1 Espeon Confusion Future Sight
2345 30 4-12-11 Exeggutor Extrasensory Solar Beam
2304 28 14-4-12 Espeon Confusion Future Sight
2220 30 13-15-14 Gengar Hex Shadow Ball

I think that would do it. Some benched pokemon that could sub:

2278 29 12-6-11 Alakazam Psycho Cut Shadow Ball
2197 28 7-9-11 Exeggutor Extrasensory Solar Beam
2193 30 9-13-9 Charizard Air Slash Overheat
1920 25 9-6-3 Exeggutor Extrasensory Solar Beam

And finally, if it fails, these could be powered up:

1649 20 15-14-12 Exeggutor Extrasensory Psychic 183
1645 20 15-14-11 Exeggutor Extrasensory Psychic 183
1588 20 11-12-11 Alakazam Confusion Future Sight 115

Just a heads up, a well timed SoB is going to pretty much do as much or more damage than Psychic even when Psychic is SE. Since SoB Eggs are better for general use I would keep this in mind for dust expenditures.
