Raid time limit: did anyone notice the email from Niantic?
Before raids were widely available, everyone was reporting that trainers would have 5 minutes to defeat the boss. But we quickly learned that it's really only 3 minutes. But then I got an email from Niantic on the 29th (almost a week after raids went live) and noticed this sentence:
If you successfully defeat the Raid Boss within the five-minute time limit, you’ll...
I admit that kind of annoyed me a bit. I mean, if I'd had only 30 more seconds, I could have taken that Gengar out.

Well, yes. But that is still misleading. It often takes less than 30 seconds to choose a team, so that leaves 1.5 minutes of waiting. Unless, that is, you happen to get thrown into a group that has already been waiting almost two minutes. I joined a raid the other day and suddenly had only 10 seconds to pick a team before the battle began. Wouldn't be so bad if the game didn't insist on choosing 3 Snorlax and 3 Blissey almost every time.
1-2 for me as well. 3's quickly drained all my potions I had saved for a couple of months. It just wasn't worth all the resources needed for a gamble on a solo raid. I need to sit by a stop for hours to get that amount of revives/potions.
I'd rather hope for a tm in exchange for a single potion on a lvl 2 raid vs 6 revives/potions multiple times on a lvl 3. Still have not seen another player in a lobby.
