Best Vaporean Raid Boss counters
I got really close to soloing Vaporean for fun, so looked up my attacker choices here afterwards. As it's purely a question of DPS rather than survivablity, how is that Jolteon is listed as a worse choice than Venusaur and the other lower Attack stat grass mons?
Edit: I used PokeBattler to rank my best Vaporean attackers by DPS. If I bring my best Jolteon up to 2511 (level 35) I can dish out 21.10 DPS.

Vine Whip/Razor Leaf and Solar Beam is generally a more desirable set than the Jolteon options I believe, and makes up for the attack stat difference, and on top of that also resists water as a bonus.
I'm pretty sure a TS/TB jolteon is still right up there for the DPS options....basically that or any of the big grasses should demolish vaporeon
Because it's not just a matter of DPS. A Jolteon may deliver marginally more powerful blows, but his duration will be nada compared to any grass because of resistance. Soloing doesn't leave much time for all but the most selective of dodging. Having a really good one start off or finish, sure, but you'll likely get beat with six of them.
For HP Vaporean, I ran out of time with basically 0 health left on the Vaporean (none showing), and still on my 5th attacker. No dodging. This means that it was better for me to go after her with pure DPS. I edited my best attackers above, ranked through PokeBattler by DPS. The true loser is TS/T Jolteon, forget that, and it's better not to mix in one of my Dragonites, as even a lower level Victreebel does more DPS.
