What are you doing with your Rare Candies?

Yes, it is very annoying that they are taking up space. I will up my item space to 1500 in the next few days (currently at 1300), partly to accomodate for rare candies and all the other new goodies.

Overall, I think the best call is to hold onto them for now unless you really need them for a task at hand. Legendaries are probably coming and rare candies are the obvious way to power them up. Otherwise, gen 3 should also be coming soon.

Personally, while I have enough Porygon candy to evolve a Porygon 2, I'm waiting for Porygon Z and only then evolving my best Porygon, as the candy is very hard to come by.

I use them on Larvitar/Tyranitar. I'll use them on Machamp, Golem and Dragonite later when I'm done with my Tyranitars.

I don't use them yet... have 40+ rare candies but don't want to spend them on mons with crappy movesets.

As soon as the game gives me some TMs (I now have completed 27 raids and I've never got one single TM), I will use them on my 4 SW/HB Dragonites and probably on 1 or 2 machamps (I have 9 Machamps but none with double fighting moves).

I start to be really upset with this RNG thing, I don't know how many raids I'll have to do to get those TMs.

I used a handful on my Tyranitar, but I'm now saving the rest for Legendaries.

Honestly there's really no pressing need for me to use them at the moment, since I have no incentive to attack gyms and I really will only be able to do raids sporadically living in the suburbs.

I'm saving them all.

There is nothing to use them on now as gym defenders do not matter, gym attackers do not matter. The only thing that matters to me are raid attackers and I already had about 15 attackers and 30 defenders above 3000CP and now they are all attackers

I've been using them on my 95% IV DT/HB Dragonite. Gotta get this bad boy to at least level 30. I'd be much happier if I had a damn charge TM. :D I doubt I'll have any rare candy left after this project.

The next rare candy project is going to be on my 86% IV B/C Tyranitar raid boss that I caught yesterday.

I'm reading a few replies and they plan on using rare candy on 3KM Pokémon? I find that absolutely absurd. But hey, if that's what you want to use YOUR rare candy then so be it. Whatever makes you happy. ;)

I am saving for the legendaries.

I probably spent the first 100 I collected, mostly Mareep, but also on the Heracross I collected on holiday. Then I decided I should save for legendaries and now I've got 150 I'm worrying about space. If I keep saving I'll gradually only have a bag full of rare candies....

Great moneymaker for Niantic, but they really should be "weightless" items.
